Anisa Abeytia

Anisa Abeytia hold an MS. In Holistic Nutrition from Hawthorn University, an M.A. in Literary Theory from Stanford University and a B.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry and Fiction) from the University of Southern California. Since 1999 she studied and researched health, healing and natural living and studied to become a Certified Islamic Healer and attended the oldest herbal school in the U.S. Anisa writes on topics of health and nutrition and contributes regularly to various magazine and online sites worldwide, specializing in thyroid and endocrine dysfunction. She is the author of over fifty articles that were translated into five languages. Currently she works with clients worldwide. Her book, The 9 Step Thyroid Cure is forth coming. Her recipe, Spiced Lamb in Plum Sauce, will be featured in the November 2011 issue of Cooking Light.
