Congratulations to Catherine Bond for receiving the Master of Science in Traditional Nutrition degree, Summa cum Laude. Catherine was raised to believe that a low-fat diet was the way to go. When her daughter was diagnosed with celiac disease Catherine stopped purchasing prepared and processed foods. She read food labels and began researching ways to improve her daughter's health. Catherine took cooking classes and was encouraged by her teacher to join the Weston A. Price Foundation. This increased her awareness and she now cooks the majority of food from scratch using organic products. Her enthusiasm and passion led her to Hawthorn. She plans to continually learn about health and diet and spread the word about traditional diets in Australia where she lives with her family. Best of luck, Catherine!
