I grew up outside of New York City and currently reside in Salt Lake City. I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in Washington D. C. and completed my Masters of Holistic Nutrition from Hawthorn University in California. I have practiced as a Registered Nurse for seven years in Pediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Units in many hospitals throughout the country. Through my years as an RN in these acute settings, I have realized how important nutrition is not only in overcoming disease, but in preventing it. I believe that proper nutrition and exercise not only are beneficial, but essential for good health.
My goal is to educate individuals and corporations on the importance of proper nutrition and its direct impact on good health. Additionally, I teach the skills needed to make smart long-term food choices and live a healthy lifestyle. I believe:
- All diseases have a nutritional component that needs to be corrected before healing can be complete
- In focusing on the causes, not the symptoms, of disease
- Everyone can have control over the foods they put into their bodies
- Eating healthy should be fun and taste good
