Heather E. Jones graduated Summa cum Laude with a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition degree. Heather graduated with a degree in Landscape Architecture from Pennsylvania State University, after studying in both Italy and the Republic of Korea. She began her studies at Hawthorn after being inspired to use the Paleolithic diet to pursue healing from her own minor health concerns. Heather is fascinated by the applicability of anthropology to modern nutrition. She is interested in the connection of intestinal health to physical and mental well-being, and the psychological effects of food, especially having to do with binge eating disorder and food addiction. Heather's thesis, An Empowering Perspective on Binge Eating: overcoming bulimia, binge eating disorder and compulsive overeating by leveraging the power of the human brain, is evidence of her successful pursuit of knowledge. Best of luck, Heather!
