Holistic Nutrition Admission

Welcome to Hawthorn University’s Admission Information page. If you are unsure if online learning fits your personal education needs, please feel free to take the following brief survey.

Students interested in taking courses listed in the Holistic Nutrition Elective area will earn three (3) credits.

If you are a new applicant for the Holistic Nutrition elective program, please fill out an application. Select "Enroll Now" and create an account.

If you have already created an account and submitted an application for any of Hawthorn's electives, NO new application is required. Simply contact Kathy and your request will be added to your course selection area.

New Applicants: Choose Holistic Nutrition - Individual Courses from the Program drop down menu. The status will automatically default to non-matriculated. In the drop down menu, under Course, choose the course you want. When you complete and submit the application, you will receive an email from the Director of Admissions with additional information. No application fee is required.

Non-Matriculating Students

Students who want to take individual courses from any of Hawthorn's programs or from the Holistic Nutrition - Elective Course listing are considered non-matriculating students and are subject to the same admission requirements as their program of interest. For example, students who want a master's level course must show proof of an earned bachelor's degree. Students must also submit a photo ID. Students interested in taking individual courses in the WTNC and MSTN programs must be members of the Weston A. Price Foundation.

Should a non-matriculating student decide to enroll into a program at a later date, a new program application must be submitted along with all required documentation for admission into the program. A $60 application fee (non-refundable) will be charged.
