Heather Busby

Congratulations to Heather Busby for graduating Summa cum Laude from the Nutrition Consultant program. Heather loved learning at Hawthorn about the science of the body and its relation to nutrition, as well as holistic and conventional approaches to wellness. She learned to look at the whole-person perspective, which takes into account the many factors involved in wellness, such as lifestyle, diet, learned habits, stress, and environmental factors. She is enthusiastic about food, cooking, and helping people and believes strongly in our connection to food and cooking, as well as the power of the mind and thoughts. She has experienced first-hand and observed in others how these factors can lead to either self-destruction or self-improvement. Heather’s approach to helping people on their wellness journey is individualized, real-life, and sustainable—meaning simple, life-long changes rather than quick fixes. She provides support and strategies for wellness by teaching about whole foods and intuitive cooking, sharing visualization and affirmation exercises, and creating personalized health protocols. You can find her at http://www.heatherbusbync.com/. Best of luck to you, Heather!
