Congratulations to Bradley Linberg for graduating Summa cum Laude with a Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition degree. As a student at Iowa State University, Bradley discovered weightlifting. His desire to gain lean muscle mass and increase his strength led to an interest in food targeted to body builders. He began to consume protein shakes and followed the commercial advice in magazines. It worked for a time, but then he experienced a period of poor health. After trying conventional treatments without success, Bradley began his quest for wellness and was introduced to a holistic view of nutrition. He changed his diet, cut out all processed foods and sugar, and increased his intake of vegetables and fruits and came to study at Hawthorn University. His plan is to share his knowledge with those who suffer from chronic illness and educate others about keeping their health so they never have to experience poor health. His thesis is entitled Commercial Whey Protein Powders: A study on the effects on health and their influence on the increase of inflammation and a leaky gut. Best of luck, Bradley and continued good health!
