Congratulations to Stephanie Altermatt for graduating cum Laude from the Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education degree program. Stephanie also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cross-Cultural Studies from Bethany Global University in Bloomington, MN. When her three children were diagnosed with severe food allergies, she realized it was time to make changes in her family’s dietary choices. After successfully improving her children’s health through diet and nutrition, she decided to deepen her knowledge in holistic health and nutrition so she could go on to inspire others to lead healthy lives. Her goal is to help other parents learn how to instill healthy eating habits in their children at a young age. Health and nutrition education are her passion and she loves inspiring others to lead healthy lives. Her thesis is entitled Childhood Obesity: Confronting the Growing Problem in Low Income Hispanic Children with Cooking Component. Keep spreading your knowledge to increase wellness in others!
