Congratulations to Chanda Guerin for graduating Summa cum Laude with a Master of Science in Health and Nutrition Education degree. Chanda is a food and nutrition blogger, nutrition and cooking workshop facilitator, and one-on-one nutrition consultant. She currently manages the annual fundraising campaign and alumni program at the San Francisco Friends School (SFFS), and teaches nutrition and cooking workshops to SFFS middle school students throughout the year. She also partners with 18 Reasons Cooking Matters and Leah’s Pantry to facilitate workshops with low income, minority children, adults, families, and child care professionals which inspired her thesis, Evaluating the Necessity of Culturally and Geographically Relevant Nutrition Education Programming for San Francisco CalFresh Recipients.
