For true health and disease prevention, it’s helpful to eat a whole foods diet, avoid toxins and chemicals in our environment and personal care products, and support our detoxification pathways so they do their job efficiently detoxifying compounds that we are exposed to.
Dr. Finley will teach how to support our detoxification pathways and capabilities on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and yearly basis based on scientific reasoning.

The presentation is appropriate for nutrition professionals, health care providers, and those interested in detoxification to support health.
Dr. Tara Finley graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology from University Nevada, Reno in 1997. She then completed a 6-year postgraduate program of education at the National College of Natural Medicine, an accredited Naturopathic Medical and Chinese Medicine School in Portland, Oregon.
She graduated in 2004 with a Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine and a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Holistic Nutrition through Hawthorn University.
Dr. Finley is a licensed Oriental Medicine Doctor (OMD) in the State of Nevada and as a Naturopathic Doctor (ND) in the state of California (Nevada does not currently have a Naturopathic Licensing Board). Dr. Finley is also a Certified GAPS Practitioner.
Tara currently sees patients and operates The Finley Center for Acupuncture, Naturopathic Medicine & Physical Therapy with her husband Brian in Reno, Nevada. Brian and Tara have two young daughters.
