Join us as Hawthorn doctoral candidate Nishanga Bliss teaches us to eat with the seasons to nourish your optimal health. Nishanga integrates the traditional wisdom of Chinese medicine with modern research to inspire you to get back into the kitchen and choose appropriate, local foods and cooking styles for springtime. Learn to refresh your energy, gently nourish and cleanse your liver and gall bladder, regulate your moods and hormonal cycles and feel the renewal of spring in your body and psyche. Nishanga Bliss, MSTCM, L.Ac. is an assistant professor of Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncturist, herbalist and author of Real Food All Year: Eating Seasonal Whole Foods for Optimal Health and All-Day Energy (New Harbinger, 2012). She is a doctoral student at Hawthorn University.
